What’s your favorite walking route in Istanbul?

I go out for a walk every morning in Etiler/Bebek; the combination of the sun and the sea is a great way to start the day. Other than that, I used to love taking a walk on the Moda seaside and seeing all the lovely cats and dogs along the way. 

Where is your favorite place to work?

I don’t have a studio or a specific favorite place to work, but I usually like to sit for long periods and get comfortable while I’m working. Since it’s not easy to find an empty spot, I really like working at Salt Galata.

What color do you watch Istanbul with?

I always imagine Istanbul as Electric Blue… Maybe because it’s a vibrant yet very powerful color, and I certainly feel like the sea has a very strong effect on my impressions. I love the versatility of Istanbul—very fast-paced, but so beautiful if you take the time to slow down and enjoy.
