Figg shoes are a modern interpretation of traditional Turkish shoes called “Çarık”. They ensure comfort, durability, authenticity, quality and just the right balanced style between dressy and casual.
Manufactured from one single piece of superior quality of suede, Figg shoes are carefully handcrafted in Istanbul using the finest materials and traditional methods of shoemaking, passed down from generation after generation.
Slight quirks and anomalies deriving from the natural qualities of the material and the craftsmanship are embraced as they are essential to the uniqueness of the shoe.
Please follow our instructions to maintain the intended aesthetic of your shoes and to make them last longer.
Care Instructions
Do not wear your shoes in rainy days as it will damage the leather. If they get wet, let them dry naturally.
We recommend you to use suede or leather waterproof spray before using your shoes to minimize the stains.
Last but not least, slip your shoes in their own dust bag when not in use or when you pack them for travel.
Cleaning your suede Figgs:
Remove the shoelaces if available.
Gently brush your shoes in the same direction with a suede brush to remove dust and dirt but for stubborn stains you may need to clean them with suede shampoo.
Remove stains with a help of a suede eraser, finish by brushing the shoe.
Here is a tip : Suede can be “refreshed” using steam from the kettle and gently cleaning with a rubber suede brush.
Cleaning your leather Figgs:
Remove the shoelaces if available.
Gently brush your shoes with a leather brush or wipe off with soft cloth to remove dust and dirt.
If a more intense clean is required then use a high quality leather cleaner and a conditioner and air dry.
Finish by brushing the shoe.

Insole

Double Stitch
Double stitch: The handmade double stitch not only enhances the artisanal quality but also pays homage to traditional shoemaking techniques. Our approach prioritizes stitching over excessive glue, ensuring durability and authenticity.
Midsole
Midsole: The shoe features an EVA midsole, expertly designed to provide optimal cushioning and support. With its shock-absorbing properties, the EVA midsole reduces the impact on your feet, allowing you to walk with ease and grace when you're strolling through city streets.
Outsole
Outsole: Adorned with charming miniature paw motifs, this one-of-a-kind thermo sole is crafted to last, ensuring that it will accompany you on countless journeys.
